SOFTWARE TOOLS DEVELOPER
– APP POWER & PERFORMANCE

Work location: Malmö (5 days onsite)

For our Client we are looking for an enthusiastic Software Development Engineer with full-stack development experience to support Engineering and QA teams within the Client's organization in Malmö to help ship exciting features related to Power and Performance tools.

You will be responsible for upholding power & performance quality of application features across iOS, watchOS, visionOS and macOS platforms.

You will embrace a diverse set of responsibilities which includes improving current testing infrastructures and tools to evaluate the power, performance and memory impact of a worldwide App.

You will work closely with other development and QA teams to understand how performance tests work, run them daily, triage regressions and design and implement new tools which foster continuous improvements both to the quality of our products and processes.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking initiative and is comfortable working with multi-functional teams.

Key Qualifications

· Experience in Swift development and interest in implementing test cases in Swift

· Familiarity with XCTest Framework or interest in learning

· Knowledge of full-stack development in Python or interest in learning

· Passionate about product quality and attention to detail regardless of complexity of solution

· Excellent troubleshooting and triaging skills

· Ability to learn new technologies independently & bring new perspectives to our team

Additional Requirements

While the following are not necessary skills, they would be helpful in this role:

· Knowledge of JavaScript, and other front-end frameworks such as React

· Familiarity with Django, Ruby on Rails, or Express

· Knowledge of Splunk, ElasticSearch, and building dashboards

· Experienced in web or mobile UI automation

· Familiarity with system power, performance and memory assessment tools
