Thesis description
This thesis aims to explore how automation and machine learning can be used to improve efficiency in inspection, testing, and analysis processes. The goal is to enhance quality assurance for both operations and product development, making better use of acquired and aggregated data and improving predictability of fault modes.
This is a hands‑on thesis with real data and real impact, not a purely theoretical assignment. We're very flexible on scope and open to shaping the project together with the student.
Required Skills and Experience
- Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or similar.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methods and data analysis is an advantage.
- The project is based on real operational and test data and aims to deliver hands‑on methods with direct industrial applicability.
