SecOps Engineer

About the role

As a SecOps Engineer at Qred, you'll be a part of the enabler team, supporting our compliance team and cross-functional teams, working in a modern technical stack. We don't only talk about AWS, serverless and machine learning, we are heavily invested in it. You will advise, collaborate, code and break stuff. Your daily work will probably include the following:

You'll be ensuring strong security in all aspects of platform operations.

Supporting product teams in their ability to build and secure cloud distributed systems, serverless architectures and container platforms.

Supporting IT with client security configuration, alerting and response

Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify the company needs and requirements and implement the best practices in house.

Be awesome and hands-on with AWS, IaC, tooling and coding/scripting (python or nodejs).

Work with product teams to help drive security projects.

Coordinate any security related issue, both planned and unplanned.

Security audits of our integrations

Troubleshooting and support of anything that touches our security related systems for the entire company

Be or want to be knowledgeable on relevant compliance with technical touchpoints for our industry, EBA ICT guidelines or DORA compliance as an example.

Here's what we're looking for:

A self-driven person with a flexible, positive mindset and strong team spirit, who loves helping others.

You can write secure code in at least one language (we use Python and Typescript) and are familiar with secure coding practices (e.g., OWASP).

You have a passion for breaking (and fixing) stuff. You see what others don't.

At least a few years of experience working with security and/or cloud ops.

Solid work experience in AWS and security, preferably in serverless.

You've worked in regulated, compliant environments.

If you have an AWS certification (Developer, Solution Architect or Sysops) we'll be extra interested

One last thing

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Stockholm. While we encourage a hybrid and flexible work setup, we do expect you to be in the office three days per week. Ideally, the role would be filled as soon as possible, but we're happy to agree on a mutually suitable start date for the right candidate.
