British American Tobacco Sweden is looking for a Project Engineer Utilities to join our team in Malmö.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Plan, coordinate, and implement investment projects in utilities, construction, sustainability, and engineering snus manufacturing machines. 
• Manage project budgets, including CAPEX and OPEX, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance. 
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to meet business needs. 
• Support process improvements, cross-functional projects, and regional/global initiatives. 
• Promote safety, operational excellence, and Manufacturing Excellence capabilities. 
• Drive improvement initiatives, future ideas, and IWS IM pillar project structures. 
• Provide guidance, coaching, and clear direction to technicians, operators, and staff. 
• Ensure compliance with global standards, legal requirements, and procurement policies. 

What are we looking for? 

• Minimum 5 years of technical education and production engineering experience preferred. 
• Strong technical knowledge, interest, and hands-on engineering expertise. 
• Proven project management skills and structured, objective-oriented work approach. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels. 
• Service-minded, flexible, and able to work safely in hazardous conditions (e.g., work on height, hot work, LOTO). 
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, preferred fluent Swedish, both written and spoken 
• Proficient in MS Office; CAD skills and knowledge of SAP, SS, EN, or ISO standards are a plus. 
• Committed to continuous learning and applying technical and safety best practices.
