Cooling Technician / Kyltekniker – Sweden

Vertiv are hiring a Cooling Technician / Kyltekniker with a background in HVAC, Refrigeration, Cooling or Thermal Management products in Sweden. 

Location: Sweden with regular travel across the Nordics region. 50% of the time near Stockholm and 50% of time travelling away. 
Schedule: Full-time, field-based role supporting customer projects across Sweden and the Nordics.

Summary 

You will be responsible for commissioning, maintenance, component replacements and emergency repairs of Vertiv's Thermal Management products as well as other contracted systems. Another key part of the role is to provide technical support to customers and internally. You will be required to establish, promote and maintain excellent relations with customers, sales managers, distributors and other stakeholders. 

Responsibilities 


• Respond professionally and efficiently to all assigned service calls.

• Perform all tasks safely and in line with Vertiv policies, standards, and applicable legislation.

• Deliver planned maintenance, commissioning, and repairs to a high standard, maintaining a minimum 90% completion rate.

• Coordinate with the back-office and scheduling teams to plan, update, and close work orders.

• Complete all job documentation accurately and on time; debrief on-site where possible.

• Report potential sales or service leads to the relevant department.

• Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and all Vertiv processes.

• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in proper condition.

• Work collaboratively within the service team, supporting colleagues and wider business needs.

• Provide technical support and guidance on complex issues.

• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Attend customer meetings and represent Vertiv professionally.

• Ensure all activities comply with Export/Import and International Trade Compliance requirements.

Experience and qualifications 

Preferably 5 years' experience in a technical service environment working with Thermal equipment or similar i.e. HVAC / Refrigeration / Cooling / Chillers, etc.  


• Swedish "Kylcertifikat Kategori I" (mandatory).

• Experience in refrigeration, HVAC or thermal systems.

• Previous field service experience.

• Data centre experience is highly desirable 

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

• Clean, valid driving license.

Working conditions 


• Daily travel to and from customer sites.

• Occasional overnight stays and travel within Sweden, Nordics, and Europe to support projects.

• Participation in a 24/7 call-out rota.

• After-hours and weekend work may be required at short notice.

• Occasional heavy lifting required.

• Expected to work as part of a collaborative team.

• Company uniform supplied and must be worn while working.
