Job Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a Group Manager for our Heavy Vehicle ("HV") Area, where you will have personnel responsibility for a total of 12 employees and consultants in their day-to-day work. The area is responsible for several launched products with ongoing software development. In addition, new versions of existing products have been offered to customers, which may result in new hardware being developed in the near future. As a Group Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the development work.
Your responsibilities will include, among others:
Personnel management: You are responsible for ensuring that your employees thrive, develop, and are inspired to perform at their best during the workday.
Meeting planning: Plan and conduct weekly meetings with your team.
Performance and development reviews: Conduct employee development reviews and salary reviews.
Efficiency and training: Continuously ensure that the team works efficiently and, when necessary, identify and propose competence development initiatives.
Project management: Together with others in the area management team, ensure that projects are delivered according to plan, with the desired quality and within budget.
Networking: Build networks with external companies in Linköping and across Sweden, as well as internally within the ACTIA Group.
Process improvement: Together with other area managers within R&D, work to streamline and improve development processes within ACTIA Nordic.

Skills & Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
Education: A relevant university degree for the position.
Experience: Several years of experience working with complex system solutions and software development within embedded systems.
Leadership skills: Strong leadership qualities or previous experience with personnel management.
Agile/Lean: An understanding of Agile/Lean development and previous experience working in a project-based environment.

Experience working with complex systems: A solid understanding of complex system solutions and system development following standardized processes for quality, safety, or cybersecurity.
