In addition, we provide innovative solutions within decoration, automation and assembly.

We are now looking for a
Technical Director
to take overall responsibility for our technical organization and play a key role in our continued growth and development.

We offer

At Nolato MediTech, you will have a key role in a world-leading medical technology company, working with products that create real value for end users. We offer a stable and profitable business within a future-oriented industry, with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development.

About the role

As Technical Director, you hold a central leadership position within Nolato MediTech. You lead and develop our technical resources in cross-functional customer projects – from early design phases through industrialized production. Your organization is a key partner to operations and business, driving technical excellence, continuous improvement and competence development.

You are responsible for the technical teams within Tooling, Metrology and Industrial Engineering, as well as Service & Maintenance, across our sites in Hörby and Lomma. Your organization consists of approximately 15 engineers and specialists. The position is based in Hörby, reporting directly to the Managing Director, and you are a member of the Nolato MediTech management team.

Your mission

In this role, you combine strategic perspective with hands-on leadership. You ensure that our technical processes, methods and capabilities are state-of-the-art and aligned with both current and future business needs.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading, developing and empowering the technical organization
  • Playing a key role in process development and industrialization projects
  • Driving technical development, automation and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring robust, validated processes for high-volume manufacturing
  • Close collaboration with production, quality, project management, suppliers and customers
  • Active participation in strategic management team initiatives

Your background

We are looking for an experienced and confident leader with a strong technical foundation. You have the ability to balance technology, business and people, and you thrive in a role with broad responsibility and real impact.

We believe you have:

  • A Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • A high level of technical competence within manufacturing industries
  • Proven experience in leading and developing technical teams
  • Experience in process development and industrialization projects
  • Solid knowledge of high-volume production and automation
  • Strong business understanding and quality awareness
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience from the medical device industry (regulatory requirements, GMP, etc.)
  • Experience in injection moulding and polymer materials
  • Certification in project management (e.g. PMI or similar)

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you are driven, structured and solution-oriented. You are a natural leader who inspires engagement, sets clear goals and helps others grow. You have the persistence and patience required to manage projects with varying pace and complexity, while maintaining focus and direction.

You are communicative, collaborative and skilled at building trust – both internally and externally. You are motivated by developing people, technology and long-term capabilities.

Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
