Join Blykalla – Lead the Digital Future of Nuclear

Our ambition is to lead the digital development within nuclear engineering.
We are building a new digital landscape where product data, tools, and processes come together into one coherent digital model – supporting design, licensing, construction, and operation of advanced reactors.
Blykalla is developing the next generation of nuclear technology with our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) based on innovative fuel, materials, and reactor designs. As Sweden's only SMR developer, we are on a mission to decarbonize industries and enable safe, scalable, and sustainable energy solutions. Our technology uses uranium nitride fuel and lead coolant, creating novel challenges and opportunities for the fuel cycle and supporting systems.
To accelerate this journey, we are now hiring key roles for our Digital Systems Team:
Product Data & PLM Architect
As Product Data & PLM Architect, you will be the steward of Blykalla's digital backbone. Your responsibility is to implement and operationalize product structures, data models, and configuration management processes– ensuring product data integrity across the lifecycle. By aligning PLM with MBSE, simulation, CAD/CAE, and requirements and configuration management – all connected through a secure digital infrastructure- you will enable a digital model that supports Blykalla's ambition to lead the digital transformation of the nuclear industry.
Implement and operationalize product data models and structures for nuclear systems.
Deploy PLM strategy, standards, and governance.
Ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements for product data.
Integrate PLM with MBSE, CAD/CAE, plant simulation, requirements, and configuration management to support the digital model.
Ensure version control, configuration status, and change processes are correctly implemented and maintained in the PLM platform and supporting digital tools.
Act as subject matter expert for PLM in partner and supplier discussions.
Who you areYou may be newly educated or already experienced – what matters to us is your potential. You are an architect-minded professional who combines strategic vision with hands-on delivery. You thrive on implementing structures, aligning stakeholders, and building the digital backbone that enables safe and modern nuclear engineering. You enjoy collaborating with stakeholders to implement emerging governance frameworks into functioning, integrated digital solutions.
University degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or similar.
3+ years of experience
Proven experience with PLM platforms and product data governance.
Knowledge of MBSE approach and integration with PLM, CAD/CAE, and simulation tools.
Experience with requirements and configuration management is a plus.
Familiarity with standards (ISO/IEC 81346, IEC is an advantage.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
