About The Role
As a Data Scientist, your role is crucial in driving the work of AI and Advanced Analytics across the BRB organization and its stakeholders. This role will focus on enhancing, validating, and maintaining Customer Due Diligence (CDD) models within the scope of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) directive as well as other models delivering insights to key stakeholders. Collaboration, clear communication to technical/non- technical audience and technical expertise are essential in this role.

The Business & Retail Banking division is now strengthening Data Analytics & CIO Office further to accelerate the journey towards becoming the #1 full-service digital retail bank in the Swedish market. We are a team of around 35 highly engaged and skillful data and analytics professionals, and we are now seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist that can work as a quantitative model developer to join our AI Analytics team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, Interpret and participate in maintaining and developing of models based on complex data: Define and analyze complex data- business related problems, propose well-structured solutions and drive the work/process from inception to completion.
• Design and be part of developing AI Models/Systems and Architectures: Ensure models represent business concepts, compliance and requirements, adhere to industry best practices, and support monitoring, governance, and quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other cross-functional teams.

You have a very good understanding of data & (AI) analytics/data science frameworks and how to implement it in an efficient way to an organization that is heading into a predominantly Cloud based environment. You are committed to providing high-level service and are a true team player with a strong ability to build relationships with colleagues. You are prestige less and driven with a can-do attitude. You have a documented track record in working with data, analytics and AI and know what is required to truly leverage it.

Qualifications

• Experience in working in Cloud environment, and plus if GCP stack (VertexAI, BigQuery, Looker, GitLab, Jupyter)
• Proficiency in Python (or Scala, Rust, C++, Go, Julia,R)
• Plus if you are familiar with GenAI tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of model monitoring techniques, performance metrics, and model validation methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Having worked in an agile setup.
