This includes e-machines, lithium-ion propulsion batteries, charging inlets, computer screens, lamps, USB-chargers, LIDAR etc.Background:Are you an engineering student with a passion for embedded systems, environmental testing, and real-world problem solving? We offer a unique diploma work project focused on understanding condensation formation inside test objects—such as live lithium-ion propulsion batteries or other metal-housed components—during standardized damp heat tests.Project Purpose:The goal is to explore how environmental factors—humidity, temperature, and air pressure—contribute to condensation inside sealed or semi-sealed test objects. This is critical for ensuring long-term reliability and safety of automotive components exposed to harsh conditions.Project Scope:•    Develop and deploy a sensor logging system.•    Perform measurements in an environmental lab under controlled damp heat conditions.•    Conduct dielectric strength and insulation resistance measurements according to technical standards.•    Analyze sensor data to correlate environmental conditions with condensation events.•    Potential for extended project duration (>6 months) due to equipment availability and to capture seasonal variations.•    Collaborate with other Traton sites.What You'll Gain:•    Hands-on experience with sensor integration and embedded systems.•    Exposure to automotive environmental testing and safety standards.•    Skills in data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation.•    Opportunity to contribute to real-world product development and validation.Ideal Candidate:•    Engineering student (e.g., electronics, mechatronics, applied physics).•    Experience or interest in microcontrollers and programming (C/C++, Python).•    Analytical mindset and attention to detail.•    Interest in automotive systems and environmental physics.Education:M.Sc.
