Your Role

Are you ready to take on a unique challenge and make a significant impact? We are looking for a sharp business mind with proven leadership abilities and a strong foundation in analytics and communication to drive improvements within our business and operations at BU Gripen.

Your Mission: As the Leading Business Controller for Gripen Colombia, you'll be the anchor and team leader of controllers in the contract. This is a unique opportunity to challenge yourself in most financial aspects and be part of a mega deal. You'll collaborate closely with the contract responsible and BU Controller to monitor, analyse, and optimise financial aspects of the contract. Your role will involve budgeting, forecasting, and initiating actions to boost financial performance and meet targets.

You'll be a key member of the Finance Team in the Business Unit Gripen and the Aeronautics Finance department, reporting to responsible managers and the BU Controller. You'll also work closely with the Contract Responsible and other team members to understand how planning changes, risks, opportunities, and issues affect financial development.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Colombia contract controller group and represent the contract in the Finance function.
  • Participate in contract preparations, scope changes, renegotiations, and new tenders.
  • Act as the point of contact for customer invoicing.
  • Deliver on financial key targets and contribute to the business unit's goals.
  • Drive improvements in processes, systems, and control within the finance area.

Your Profile

We're seeking a Business Controller with exceptional communication skills, a passion for team leadership, and a proactive, independent spirit. You should have a relevant academic degree, several years of experience as a controller, and fluency in English. A strong analytical and pedagogical ability to understand and explain economic causation is also essential.

Location: The role is based in Linköping with occasional business travels to Colombia.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
