At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world's leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for an OTA Release Leader.

Responsibilities


• Regulatory Compliance

o Ensure all OTA releases meet SUMS requirements.

o Maintain traceability of software versions and update history.

o Validate updates against cybersecurity and functional safety standards.

o Confirm rollback and recovery strategies are defined and tested.


• Release Planning & Coordination

o Define OTA release schedules and manage dependencies.

o Coordinate with development, validation, and deployment teams.

o Integrate SUMS compliance checkpoints into release plans.


• Risk Assessment & Mitigation

o Conduct risk analysis for each OTA release (e.g., compatibility, cybersecurity threats).

o Implement mitigation strategies for identified risks.

o Ensure fallback mechanisms for failed updates.


• Stakeholder Communication

o Provide clear status updates to management and regulatory bodies.

o Communicate release notes and compliance evidence with stakeholders.

o Ensure transparency in case of incidents or recovery actions.


• Post-Release Monitoring

o Monitor OTA deployment success rates and error logs.

o Ensure compliance with SUMS post-release obligations (e.g., reporting, audits).

o Drive continuous improvement based on lessons learned.

Knowledge/Experience


• Have several years of experience from automotive business and gained proficiency when working in or close to product development projects


• Deep knowledge of OTA processes, SUMS compliance, and cybersecurity standards.


• Strong ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple teams and regions.


• Office 365, SUMS R156 and Jira

• Analytical mindset for risk assessment and mitigation.


• Organizational skills for planning and coordination.
