Your Role within Our Kingdom:

Join us as a QA Specialist at Candy Crush Saga, where you'll be crucial in the  division, embodying our Quality Assistance mindset. This approach means quality is a collective journey, with every team member playing a part in crafting our game's excellence. You'll be the champion of this culture, help embedding quality in every aspect of development, from initial design to final release. By mentoring teams and advocating for everyone to own quality, your role helps preserve our game as a beloved adventure for millions. Dive into a world where your skills contribute to creating magical, flawless experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Be the main point of contact for quality and testing-related matters for cross-functional (multidisciplinary) teams (1-2 teams).
• Collaborate with the test strategy, test design, test execution, defect analysis/root cause investigation, test reporting, and continuous improvement of the bug lifecycle process.
• Promote good QA practices, including agile testing, test automation, and risk-based testing.
• Identify and communicate risks that may impact other teams in relation to the overall quality of our products.
• Coordinate with other teams and outsourced QA teams at King during the integration and testing of key features.
• Participate in QA craft initiatives.
•  Understand how the games integrate with King tech products.

Skills to Build Thrills:

• Ability to identify and investigate risks and bugs in games and/or mobile apps.
• Experience working in cross-functional (multidisciplinary) teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Competence in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
• Understanding of the benefits and costs of automation in the QA process.
• Experience with project and test management tools.

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of game/software development processes and continuous development.
• Proactive approach to knowledge sharing and promoting good practices.
