Who will you work with?

Wabtec Faiveley Nordic AB is a leading system supplier to the international railway industry and part of Wabtec Corporation. With over 100 years of experience and a strong position in the Nordic market, we supply high-quality systems such as braking systems, door systems, air conditioning, couplings, and electronics for rolling stock.

How will you make a difference?

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible to support our customers on door systems repair, maintenance, testing and overhaul.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Assembly, overhaul, and repair of door systems according to engineering procedures.
  • Troubleshooting and testing door systems in accordance with Wabtec's guidelines.
  • Documenting and reporting performed work.
  • Close collaboration with other departments, such as sales and engineering, to ensure high quality.
  • Handling customer issues and providing technical support onboard trains.
  • Complying with quality, work environment, and safety regulations.

What do we want to know about you?

  • +1 year experience with door systems
  • Good knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems
  • Proficient English language
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Customer oriented
  • Team player
  • Flexibility to work on day or evening shift
