Divine Prayer AI is a spiritual technology platform that automatically selects and plays appropriate prayers based on a user's religion, calendar, time, and context. The application supports multiple faiths (Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Jewish, Buddhist, and others) with a focus on inclusivity, respect, and simplicity.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated
AI / Full-Stack Developer Intern
to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of the Divine Prayer AI application. This is an
unpaid internship
, ideal for students or early-career developers looking for hands-on experience in AI, web development, and multi-faith applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing AI-driven logic for prayer selection based on religion, calendar, time, and user preferences
  • Help implement backend services (APIs, databases, authentication)
  • Support frontend development for web or mobile interfaces
  • Integrate audio playback and media management for prayers
  • Collaborate on testing, debugging, and deployment of features
  • Ensure respectful and culturally sensitive handling of religious content

Requirements

  • Basic programming skills in
    Python

    JavaScript

    TypeScript
  • Interest in AI, web/mobile development, or human-centered applications
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to a multi-faith project
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred (Optional)

  • Experience with frameworks like Flask, Django, FastAPI, React, or
  • Interest in spirituality or ethical AI
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase)
