We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented
IT Project Manager
to lead complex IT initiatives that support critical business processes. In this role, you will work closely with both IT and business stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently, securely, and in alignment with organizational goals.

You will be responsible for driving projects end-to-end—from early concept and planning through execution, delivery, and closure—while managing scope, budget, risks, and stakeholder expectations. A key focus of the role is enabling business value through IT solutions, with particular attention to infrastructure and IT security components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Translate business needs into clear IT requirements and actionable project plans
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and control project activities using established project governance frameworks
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, resources, and dependencies
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders including business representatives, solution architects, IT teams, and external vendors
  • Lead and motivate geographically distributed and cross-functional project teams
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Ensure alignment between business processes and IT delivery
  • Drive change management activities and support adoption of delivered solutions
  • Provide clear status reporting, documentation, and decision support to stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and IT security concepts
  • Proven experience delivering projects in complex enterprise environments
  • Experience working according to structured project governance or project management frameworks
  • Ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions
  • Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or traditional project models
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
  • Location - Solna (Stockholm), Sweden

Nice to Have

  • Experience from large or international organizations
  • Background in industries such as energy, utilities, infrastructure, or similar regulated environments
  • Experience with change management initiatives
  • Relevant academic degree in IT, engineering, or a related field
  • Project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum Master)
