Position: Junior/Intrmediate Electrical Buyer
Location: Gavle, Sweden.

Job Description
Your duties will include:

• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Source and procure equipment and materials in accordance with project specifications and production requirements.
• Evaluate potential suppliers for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Communication within a Team Environment
• Analyse price and data
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Track and expedite orders to meet production and project timelines.
• Resolve issues related to shortages, overages, or quality discrepancies.

Skills And Requirements

• Electrically biased buyer on large scale construction projects based in Sweden.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a purchasing/buying role required - full training of in-house procedures/systems will be provided.
• Engineering experience advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of / experience in the construction industry would be advantageous.
• Relevant 3rd level qualification – in procurement required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Excellent IT skills essential - knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
