We are seeking an experienced
Data Governance Leader
. The position requires a strong change leader who can uplift data governance maturity across a global organization.

As the Data Governance Leader, you will drive the adoption and implementation of data governance practices—including Data Quality Management—across diverse business areas.

This is a highly collaborative and change-driven role, ideal for someone who can influence, educate, and bring structure in an environment with evolving governance maturity. You will work closely with Data & Analytics leaders, subject-matter experts, and stakeholders across strategic, tactical, and operational levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the change towards increased adoption of Data Governance practices across the organization.
  • Develop, refine, and deliver communication, enablement, and training programs for stakeholders at all levels (VPs, Directors, Managers, SMEs).
  • Enhance and align the Data Governance framework, including role descriptions, processes, and standards.
  • Build, nurture, and manage a Data Governance community to drive engagement, alignment, and continuous improvement.
  • Advocate and support the use of the existing data governance toolset (with tool SMEs available in a separate team).
  • Partner closely with the Data Governance Service Delivery Manager and cross-functional leaders to ensure consistent governance adoption.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience
    in Data Governance, Data Quality, or closely related areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and enterprise-wide adoption of governance practices.
  • Familiarity with
    data cataloging tools
    , metadata management, and Data Governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of
    Data Quality Management
    principles and processes.
  • CDMP certification
    (or equivalent) is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Information Management, Computer Science, Data Management
    , or related disciplines.
