Main Responsibilities

  • Perform simulation and dynamic performance studies on FACTS plants to verify performance in the connected grid
  • Model and analyze power systems, including windfarms and Synchronous Condenser Machines, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with project specifications
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and analyses, and present findings to customers
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, R&D teams, and global engineering departments to deliver high-quality technical solutions
  • Participate in tender processes, including cost estimation, coordination with sales teams, and interpretation of customer specifications
  • Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the global FACTS engineering community

Qualifications

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of experience in power systems analysis
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a multicultural environment
  • Experience with tools such as RTDS, PSCAD, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB, EMTP-RV, and Python

It's a plus if you have

  • Knowledge in windfarm modeling, STATCOM applications, or Synchronous Condenser Machines
  • Previous experience working on tenders or customer specification reviews.
  • Additional language skills, such as Swedish

  • Type of employment: You will work as a consultant for 12 months before having the opportunity to transfer to employment with our customer
