Product Application Manager – Quarry

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Application Manager with a focus on Quarry & Aggregates applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and prior experience working with leading heavy equipment manufacturers . This role will be responsible for providing technical expertise, developing product application strategies, and supporting customers in optimizing the use of our equipment in mining and aggregates operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Expertise and Support:

Serve as the technical expert for mining and aggregates applications, providing guidance to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.

Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment and solutions to optimize performance and productivity.

Conduct site visits and assessments to understand operational challenges and provide tailored solutions.

1. Product Application Strategy:

Develop and implement product application strategies to enhance the performance and efficiency of our equipment in mining and aggregates operations.

Collaborate with the product development team to provide input on new product features and improvements based on customer feedback and industry trends.

Create technical documentation, case studies, and best practice guides for mining and aggregates applications.

1. Customer Collaboration:

Build strong relationships with key customers in the mining and aggregates sectors, acting as a trusted advisor.

Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams on product applications and best practices.

Address and resolve technical issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

1. Market and Competitor Analysis:

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in mining and aggregates.

Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team to inform product development and market positioning.

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on product application strategies and customer needs.

Support the sales team in technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.

1. Reporting and Analysis:

Track and report on the performance of products in mining and aggregates applications, including customer feedback, operational data, and market trends.

Use data to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mining, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a technical or product application role within the mining, aggregates, or heavy equipment industry.

Prior experience working with leading manufacturers is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of mining and aggregates operations, including equipment, processes, and challenges.

Skills:

Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Ability to travel frequently to customer sites and industry events.

Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
