Job Purpose
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To manage and coordinate production planning for the GAS, Modul, and ignition coil departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient scheduling, material availability, and communication with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth production operations.
  • Develop and manage production plans for the GAS, Modul, and ignition coil departments
  • Prepare delivery schedules and capacity calculations
  • Report planning updates and issues to the department manager
  • Order and coordinate materials required for production
  • Monitor inventory levels and material availability for planning purposes
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers and customers regarding production planning
  • Administer and update planning parameters in the ERP system
  • Participate in projects, product meetings, and changing management processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the planning department
  • Perform other tasks related to production planning as needed

To thrive in this role, we believe you are structured, results-driven, and analytical, with a strong ability to manage and optimize production planning processes in alignment with PHINIA's Policies and Values. You demonstrate autonomy in coordinating schedules, materials, and capacity to meet production targets, and show agility in adapting to dynamic manufacturing environments. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively across functional areas such as Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement, and consistently seek opportunities to improve efficiency and delivery performance.

Mandatory

  • Education within logistics and/or production planning or experience in related automotive / engineering environment
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • Skilled in Office and ERP
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in teams.
  • Able to work under pressure and respect deadlines when required

  • Be able to work, present and communicate within all areas of the organization from shop floor to management.
  • Self-motivated and have a strong and flexible attitude towards work
