General Summary
Reporting to the Director, Sales NE & MEA the position will work closely with the Internal Sales team and Technical Sales team to drive the overall Company Business Strategy. Develops and executes Sales Business Plans and Strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier at Key customers within region.
Responsibilities
Manages customer activities within the defined region, works in conjunction with the Technical & Product Solutions Manager and Internal Sales Representatives to introduce the Rochester Electronics product to customers, and to increase the customer portfolio in accordance with agreed business development plan.Identifies target customers, build relationships and develop strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within specified region.Lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, business presentations.Responsible for accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities, and revenue for the regionEnsuring CRM is utilized and maintained on a daily basis. Provides effective communication and service to the customer base, and effectively navigate internally to priorities on active business opportunities. Travel within the assigned region will be expected at min. 50%Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
BA or BS Degree of Electronics related subjects would be an advantage Proven business development, sales & management experience in the electronic component/ semiconductor industry Experience developing a large territory and working from a virtual office Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others internally and externallyFluent in English and Swedish languages are essential, any additional languages would be an advantageStrong relationship-building skills both internally and externally and able to navigate and effectively manage business partners & suppliers successfullyProven background in developing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers including experience in closing complex deals with customers & partnersFlexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks at once and manage them efficientlyAbility to problem solve by identifying the root cause and realizing/implementing solutions Ability to maintain focus with little or no supervisionPassionate about business and willing to go the extra milePositive attitude with ability to engage and learn quicklyMicrosoft Office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate to advance level required)Other Working Conditions/Physical Demands
