Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Total Experience Required: 6+ years

Relevant Experience Required: 4+ years in Manufacturing Process

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: A minimum duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 12+ months or more, depending on project requirements.

Workplace Type: Hybrid (at least 3 times a week at office)

Languages Required: English, Swedish is a plus

Visa/Work Authorization Status: Candidates must hold a valid work permit or visa to work in Sweden

Work Location: Helsingborg, Sweden

  1. Must be currently based in Sweden or
  2. Willing to relocate to Sweden from anywhere within Europe or the UK
  3. Candidates outside Europe/UK unfortunately cannot be considered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical expertise for GUM manufacturing operations, offering troubleshooting support and driving process improvements.
  • Lead the development and documentation of process specifications for planned changes and ensure alignment with product quality requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Supply Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Commercial teams to support project execution and timelines.
  • Contribute to change initiatives using Design for Vertical Startup methodology while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience in manufacturing process engineering within a highly regulated environment.
  • Minimum of 6 years industry experience including 4 years in process engineering.
  • Proven capability in improving process efficiency and output.
  • GMP expertise.
  • Proficiency using Minitab for data analysis.
  • Technical knowledge of process optimisation and quality requirements.
  • English fluency.

Optional Skills: Process engineering experience in gum manufacturing environments. Swedish language skills.
