Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Controller, you will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly and annual closings, reconciliations, and other accounting tasks. Attention to detail and a genuine interest in accounting are crucial.

You will:

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external financial requirements
  • Maintain and update accounting master data
  • Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Analyze P&L statements and identify anomalies
  • Book and report payroll transactions
  • Monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare VAT and statutory reports
  • Support forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Manage monthly and annual closings
  • Assist internal and external audits

Additional tasks include:

  • Reporting in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
  • Scrap reporting and material margin analysis
  • Ad-hoc profitability and cost analysis
  • Supporting investment and project evaluations
  • Inventory control and stock take follow-up
  • Handling invoices, recoveries, and claims

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in a global company and production environment
  • Strong Excel skills and solid accounting knowledge
  • Understanding of Swedish accounting standards
  • Experience with IFRS and Local GAAP
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and result-driven
