Pricing & Promotions at RELEX
We design and develop tools that transform how businesses manage pricing and promotions, helping them make data-driven decisions with confidence. Our Pricing and Promotions applications are built cloud-native on Google Cloud Platform, combining robust Golang backend services with a seamless and intuitive Typescript/React front-end experience.

Behind the scenes, our data platform processes millions of rows of raw customer data using Golang workflows orchestrated by Temporal. With hybrid data layers powered by ClickHouse and Postgres, we deliver analytics and forecasts that balance pre-calculation and real-time responsiveness. We also leverage Vertex AI to enhance our machine learning capabilities, ensuring that insights are not just fast but also meaningful, helping customers plan smarter and execute better.

As a
Senior (Lead) Front End Developer,
you will join one of our Application Development teams within Price & Promotions. You will focus on building a user-friendly, performant, and intuitive React/TypeScript front end that complements our Go- and Python-based backend and data workflows. You'll work in a cross-functional team of diverse engineers, helping shape the front-end architecture and ensuring our applications scale with customer needs. If you have a passion for building excellent software, enjoy improving performance and reliability, and thrive in data-intensive environments, we'd love to talk.

For this position, we're looking for:

• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript, with the ability to design and scale complex UI systems
• Familiarity with a majority of our tech stack: React, GraphQL, ClickHouse, Temporal, gRPC, Kubernetes, Go, Python, Vertex AI
• Experience delivering reliable, high-performance applications in production environments
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in distributed and cross-functional teams
• A strong interest in data-driven products and analytical problem solving
• M.Sc. degree in relevant field required

Lead-level expectations
If you are pursuing a Lead position in our organization, we expect you to set the technical direction for the front end, create clarity in complex problem spaces, and guide the team toward high-quality outcomes. You will make informed architectural decisions, communicate them effectively, and ensure smooth collaboration across product and technology. Your role includes driving design documents to resolution, improving code structure and testability, and raising engineering standards through mentorship and actionable feedback. You will help onboard new colleagues, support team alignment, and be a key contributor to a healthy, high-performing engineering culture. An M.Sc. is required for this role, and we expect candidates operating at a very high front-end engineering level.
