Software Developer to Irori

Role

We are seeking integration developers who are motivated by teamwork and innovative technology. At Irori we cover a range of technologies including Event Streaming, Container Orchestration, Identity Management, Process Automation and API Management. We specialize in solutions based on Kafka and Kubernetes and have a lot to offer for candidates with this interest.

We typically help customers to modernize service platforms and develop effective digital products. This can involve launching new financial products, enabling mobile payments for retail or simply making a set of core services more data driven. We work as technical specialists and organize complete product teams for customers.

In addition to consulting Irori develops commercial software in the area of streaming data services. Irori offers functionality for disaster recovery, schema registry, Kafka connect, observability and data governance.

Expectations

We expect that you have a few years experience in systems development. More importantly, we think you are passionate about learning how to apply innovative technologies for customer benefit. The technology landscape is always evolving and it is our job to explore and evaluate how to capture value from new technology.

In addition to advanced technical skills we expect you to have an interest in people. In our experience the greatest challenge in creating solutions is often our ability to collaborate and find appropriate trade offs as a team. This requires that we have social and communication skills not only to work effectively together but to actually motivate each other and create a fun-filled collaborative culture.

Your exact prerequisite skills are less important than your attitude to learning. We are a diverse team in terms of technical passions today, and this helps us to cover a wider set of considerations as we build solutions.

Qualifications

You have a software engineering background or similar. You have a few years experience in backend development and may have an interest in container orchestration and cloud infrastructure as well. You either have experience with or an interest in some of the following technologies: Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenAPI, , Quarkus, Spring Boot, Prometheus, Helm, Jaeger.

You speak English fluently, and Swedish at an intermediate level.

The journey

We will provide you with qualified consulting assignments to match your level of experience. Most of the time you will be working in a team of colleagues as an integral part of a customer product team. On top of this, you will participate part time in in-house product development according to interest. Irori ties continuous training to our product development which ensures everyone gets hands-on experience with new technologies. This keeps our knowledge base up to date, and gives us the experience to guide customers to successful technology adoption.
