Are you an expert in container orchestration looking for your next high-impact project? We are seeking a Senior System Engineer with deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift to join a highly skilled technical team.

In this role, you won't just be maintaining a platform; you will be optimizing, troubleshooting, and providing architectural guidance for a complex enterprise environment. We need a proactive professional who can hit the ground running from day one.

The Role

Position: Senior System Engineer

Location: Hybrid (Majority of time on-site)

Duration: Initial 3 months (High possibility of extension)

Start Date: January 2026 (Interviews scheduled for Week 3)

Key Responsibilities

Platform Operations: Deploy, configure, and operate Red Hat OpenShift (OCP 4.x) environments, including Day-2 operations, upgrades, and disaster recovery.

Architecture & Guidance: Act as a subject matter expert, providing architectural insights, best practices, and continuous platform improvements.

Management: Handle authentication integrations (LDAP/SSO) and OpenShift Operators.

Troubleshooting: Resolve complex Kubernetes and platform-level issues in collaboration with DevOps and SRE teams.

Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate rapid knowledge transfer and contribute to efficient team onboarding.

Technical Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 7+ years in senior Linux/DevOps/SRE roles, with at least 4 years dedicated to Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Red Hat OpenShift (OCP 4.x): Expert knowledge of IPI/UPI installations, OpenShift Virtualization, GitOps (Argo CD), and Pipelines (Tekton).

Kubernetes Core: Mastery of etcd, API servers, CRDs, and dynamic admission controllers.

Automation & IaC: Advanced proficiency in Ansible and Terraform.

Networking & Containers: Deep experience with CRI-O, CNI, Ingress/Egress routing, and Service Mesh.

Observability: Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and EFK/ELK stacks at scale.

Security & Scripting: Strong grasp of RBAC, Pod Security Standards, and proficiency in Bash or Python.
