Role Description

YSDS' communications department consists of one role – Head of Communications – that is responsible for building the YSDS' brand across all our markets, and supporting the local teams with sales and marketing ideas & materials.

As the Head of Communicaitons is going on a temporary leave, YSDS is looking for an Interim Communications Specialist that can implement the marketing & communications plan and framework for the coming year.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken (near-native level). You'll create external marketing materials and communicate internally in English without language support.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and a strong team player who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. You live our values — passionate, ambitious and caring.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to drive several projects forward independently.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator, and the curiosity to learn more when needed.
  • Familiar with WordPress (for website updates) and LinkedIn (for company posts).
  • University or vocational degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field — or another discipline combined with a genuine interest in marketing, communication and brand building.
