After-Sales Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on After-Sales Technical Support Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will support customer communication, perform issue investigations, and work closely with R&D teams to ensure fast and accurate resolution of vehicle-related problems. The position involves both desk-based analysis and on-site inspections, with occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers to understand and follow up on after-sales issues.
  • Investigate reported problems and conduct on-site inspections when needed (business trips may be required).
  • Reproduce issues on real vehicles and test benches; capture logs and create Jira tickets with detailed documentation.
  • Perform basic soldering or interface debugging as needed.
  • Provide on-site log analysis support and assist R&D engineers with log reviews, keyword searches, screenshots, and Jira uploads.
  • Build and configure test benches based on product specifications; handle wiring harness adjustments if required.
  • Conduct initial assessments of after-sales issues through problem reproduction and ABA cross-testing.
  • Support software flashing/upgrades for validation units and perform functional testing.
  • Manage intake and shipment of defective parts to China.
  • Assist with urgent issue coordination and communication between local teams and the China R&D team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Hands-on experience testing in-vehicle cockpit systems, with strong understanding of cockpit features and log-capture workflows.
  • Experience flashing in-vehicle ECUs; familiarity with DSA upgrade tools.
  • Soldering experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience performing on-site technical investigations preferred.
  • Able to communicate effectively in
