- CREO
- Volvo's system e.g. KOLA
- Steel structure (in this caste supporting pressure vessels for Hydrogen), both design and production
- Cast iron design
- Coordination of Design, Production, Purchasing and Suppliers
- Industrialization of components and system.
- Mange and drive quality assurance e.g. FMEA
(position typically requires 8 years or more relevant experience)Industrial Engineer focuses on optimizing the interconnected components of a manufacturing system (e.g., plant location, personnel work flow/ergonomics, production process sequence, and equipment layouts, etc.) including: Establishing methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel ; Conducting cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies to develop and implements plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods ; Assisting manufacturing plant/facilities engineers with facility planning and design ; May assist in establishing accident prevention measures and manage production operations training programs for plant personnel. Lead level is a specialist in Industrial Engineering typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires 8 years or more relevant experience). Responsibilities typically include: Managing large projects or (end to end) processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
