About the Role

We're looking for a
Senior Java Backend Developer
with experience as a
Scrum Master
to join an innovative and collaborative DevOps team working on cutting-edge mobility solutions. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems that drive next-generation connected technologies.

You'll be part of a diverse, agile environment, working in
two-week sprints
and
ten-week program increments
, contributing both as a hands-on developer and a team facilitator.


What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions using
    Java, Spring Boot, JMS
    , and
    Relational Databases
    .
  • Work with
    AWS (Serverless, )
    and contribute to the team's cloud-native transformation.
  • Facilitate
    Agile ceremonies
    and foster collaboration as a
    Scrum Master
    (approx. 50% of your role).
  • Apply
    Test-Driven Development (TDD)
    principles and ensure high code quality and performance.
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional DevOps setup, driving innovation and continuous improvement.


What You Bring

  • 10+ years
    of experience in
    backend Java development
    (Spring Boot, JMS, Relational Databases).
  • Experience in
    AWS (Serverless, )
    .
  • Strong background in
    Unix/Linux environments
    .
  • Proven experience with
    TDD
    and
    Agile methodologies
    .
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.


Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of
    Microservices architecture
    and
    scalability testing
    .
  • Experience with
    UDP, Binary SMS, or satellite communication (sat-com)
    .
  • Familiarity with
    ASN.1
    and the
    automotive or connectivity domain
    .
  • Exposure to
    CI/CD, CDK, Code Pipelines, Docker, Serverless development, load testing, and profiling
    .
