Robotics Engineer – Engage Studios (Gothenburg)

About Engage Studios

Engage Studios works at the intersection of design, visualization, and robotics.

We build autonomous robots for demanding environments, using ROS2,Nav2, Nvidia compute, LiDAR, and custom electronics.

The Role

Full-time, on-site in Gothenburg, with some travel. You will:

  • Develop and improve our ROS2/Nav2 navigation stack (Python/C++)
  • Integrate sensors, hub motors, LiDAR, and electronics
  • Debug and optimize systems in the lab and in the field
  • Work across the stack – from low-level hardware to high-level autonomy
  • Collaborate tightly with founder and experts colleges at Engage.

You

  • M.Sc. in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, CS, or similar
  • Hands-on robotics experience (work experience)
  • Solid Python and C++ skills
  • ROS2/Nav2 experience or strong drive to learn fast
  • Comfortable with both hardware and software
  • Fluent in English
  • Ready to travel for tests and deployments

This is a permanent full-time position based in Gothenburg.
