As a front end developer in the team, you will contribute to the deliveries with your effort and knowledge.

You will participate in both architectural discussions, feature development, maintenance as well as in team planning. The team is an essential contributor to ABB's next generation control products based on a newly developed platform, supporting the latest industry communication protocols with demands from both security and safety standards.

Responsibilities in the Role :

• Together with your team, solve complex industrial problems and evaluate current technologies to identify effective solutions, tools, and methods for new products or software.
• Act as a technical role model by guiding and supporting junior and mid level developers, helping them grow their skills and adopt best practices.
• Take ownership of front end quality and standards, ensuring the team follows modern development patterns, clean code principles, and efficient workflows.
• Be an active and collaborative team member who prioritizes team outcomes and contributes to a positive, high performing team culture.
• Work closely with other teams and departments to solve cross- f unctional challenges and ensure smooth integration across the product landscape.
• Proactively drive improvements in the team's ways of working, encouraging others to adopt new tools, methods, and approaches when beneficial.

Qualifications For The Role

• We believe you have a minimum o f 5 years of experience in front end development.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks , preferably React , but Vue or Angular could also be sufficient .
• Experience with front end architecture, performance optimization and scalable UI patterns.
• You feel comfortable with containerized applications and have experience working with Linux and Kubernetes
• You genuinely care about the art of software development.
• A B.Sc., or M.Sc. in Data Science or equivalent work experience.
