Manufacturing Technology Manager

About the role

Swedish Match is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Manager to join our Manufacturing Center of Excellence department. In this pivotal role, you will own and update technology/OEM standards, ensuring best-in-class processes across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coach Global Technology Leads and Centers of Excellence (COE) in technical and standard process capabilities.

Develop and execute masterplans for technology improvements and problem-solving to support SQDCM results.

Lead technology networks and drive loss analysis using advanced methodologies and tools.

Manage global productivity projects and participate in new equipment design studies.

Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to achieve OGSM targets.

Conduct audits and site assessments for multiple technologies/OEM models.

Author and maintain technical documentation and standards.

Act as a self-sufficient project manager for multiple technology/OEM models.

Lead and support global productivity and NCI initiatives.

Develop Knowledge Transfer Packages (KTPs) for process improvements and establish KPIs to monitor performance.

Define and maintain standardized, cost-effective maintenance strategies.

Serve as Global Process Owner for key manufacturing systems (e.g., PPA, Digiperf, Athena, KMS).

Design solutions for complex loss scenarios and manage change with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Experience in a manufacturing or technical/engineering environment.

Proficiency in advanced analytical and problem-solving tools.

Strong project management and leadership skills.

Action-oriented, analytical, creative, and interpersonally savvy.

Fluent in English.

Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
