Senior Java Software Engineer

ANIMARUM is looking for a senior Java developer who wants to create technology with a human perspective. With our clients, we focus on delivering expert competence and solutions with a strong emphasis on security. We also work with many clients who have a significant focus on ML, AI and Data intensive.

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong background in Java and designing backend system architectures
• Hands-on experience with relational database technologies
• Knowledge of TypeScript is highly beneficial
• Hands on experience from working with cloud providers
• Ease in navigating various systems and partnering effectively with frontend engineering teams

What you´ll do

• Expert consultant assigned to build and support Java-based backend services, such as data pipelines and integration points for one of our many clients within different sectors
• Improve underlying infrastructure and keep systems running smoothly
• Work alongside teams that use TypeScript on both the backend and frontend (some frontend knowledge is helpful)
• Create systems that can grow and handle increasing workloads
• Help turn new features into stable, production-ready functionality for internal tools with quick user feedback
• Actively join team ceremonies and contribute to daily collaboration
