At Product Unit (PU) Fighter EW (Electronic Warfare) we are responsible for a number of products within the fighter domain, throughout their life cycle. We have the wide responsibility to define the product offerings, develop sales, executing on won contracts ranging from product definition/development of new products all the way to supporting our customers in their operations.

We are now looking for a committed and driven manager to take overall responsibility for our Product & Strategy team. You will play a key role in driving our strategy and R&D activities, that make a real difference.

As manager for our Product & Strategy team you will be responsible for the product strategies within the PU, drive the R&D-projects and secure that our existing and new products fulfils the market needs in the future.

In addition, you will be part of the Product & Governance management team, where you contribute to the overall strategy, direction, and development of the department.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Line management responsibility for leading roles within the organization
• Project owner for our R&D projects
• Responsible for product strategies and product plans
• Budget and cost responsibility for projects
• Ensuring that plans, guiding documents, and processes are in place and followed up
• Driving continuous improvements and developing ways of working within the organisation
• Supporting leadership in building a culture based on transparency, engagement, and continuous learning
• Actively contributing to the leadership of the Product & Governance department as part of its management team

We are looking for someone with a technical background who thrives in a complex environment where you combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership. You bring energy, a positive mindset, and the ability to see opportunities where others see obstacles.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience leading strategy work
• Previous leadership experience, including personnel and budget responsibility
• Solid understanding of technology and product development
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
• Fluent in Swedish and English
