Founding Software Engineer – Build the Future of AI-Driven Web Security

Are you a senior engineer who loves building, improving, and taking real ownership of a product that is live, gaining traction and moving beyond MVP status?

Do you want to work side by side with a technical founder, shape the architecture going forward, lead the technical direction, and define how an entirely new category of AI-driven security should evolve?

Then this is for you.

Barrion is building an AI-native platform that automatically finds, prioritizes, and fixes security vulnerabilities in websites and applications. Security today is manual, slow, and reactive. We are making it autonomous, continuous, and developer-friendly.

We are early. We have traction. 1,500+ users. Paying customers. And now we are looking for the
first technical hire
to build Barrion together with the founder.

What You'll Be Doing

Design and build Barrion's core backend, product logic, and infrastructure

Create systems that continuously scan and reason about web applications at scale

Build integrations with CI/CD, repositories, and external developer systems

Work closely with LLM and AI components that generate real code fixes for vulnerabilities

Make architectural decisions that define how autonomous security should work

Own the full journey from idea to production

Work Should Be Fun and Meaningful

We are building something technically ambitious in a high-trust environment. Expect deep technical discussions, fast iteration and real ownership.


What We're Looking For

Several years of experience as a backend or full stack engineer

Strong experience with TypeScript

Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks

Comfortable designing systems and APIs in cloud environments, Azure is a plus

Strong understanding of integrations, system design, and scalable architecture

Interest in DevOps, infrastructure, or security

Product mindset, you care about what users actually need & want

Self-starter who thrives in small teams with big responsibility


Bonus Points If You Have

Experience from a startup or scaleup as a senior or lead engineer

Experience running SaaS systems in production

Interest in AI and LLM driven systems

Understanding of how developers, security teams, or compliance teams work
