As a Category Manager you are responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies that optimize the supply base, reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and align with the company's operational and sustainability goals. This role requires advanced analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills to drive long-term value across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sourcing & Category Leadership

  • Develop and implement global and regional category strategies for aftermarket

  • Conduct supply market analysis and lead structured sourcing initiatives.

  • Drive sourcing activities in NPD/SPD projects aligned with aftermarket category strategy.

2. Cost & Risk Management

  • Apply TCO principles to sourcing decisions.

  • Monitor commodity price trends and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Lead fact-based negotiations and drive commercial cost-down initiatives.

  • Actively initiate, drive and implement cost out initiatives including order placement

3. Supplier Relationship & Compliance

  • Manage contracts covering pricing, quality, delivery, and sustainability.

  • Foster strategic supplier relationships to support innovation and resilience.

  • Ensure compliance with ethical, environmental, and governance standards.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation skills and strategic mindset.

  • Proficiency in spend analysis, cost modeling, and market intelligence.

  • Experience with contract design and supplier performance management.

  • Utilizes analytical tools (i.e spend analysis, cost modeling) to generate actionable insights that inform sourcing strategies and deliver measurable value.

This role requires fluency in English.

This is a full-time consultant position in Jonsered through Incluso. Start is ASAP, 7 months
limited contract to begin with, with possibility of extension after that. This role is 100% onsite in Jonsered
