The Role:

Yubico is seeking a Test Infrastructure Engineer to join our Firmware team. We're looking for someone with a passion for security to join us to take on a variety of responsibilities that include developing and maintaining a Python-based test automation system, a pytest-based testing framework, and programs and scripts for orchestrating interactions between both physical and simulated hardware devices across various communication interfaces.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scripts for test automation systems
• Build, install and maintain secure infrastructure, test benches and custom hardware test rigs
• Incorporate automated tests into continuous integration (CI) workflows, analyze results and resolve test failures
• Configure and maintain GitLab CI and other tools to support test pipelines
• Ensure reproducibility and reliability across test environments
• Monitor and optimize test execution performance
• Collaborate on a day-to-day basis with firmware, hardware, and infrastructure engineers

Basic Qualifications:

• Python
• Test automation frameworks (e.g. pytest)
• CI/CD administration (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Linux server administration
• Git
• Containers (Docker, cgroups, namespaces)

Preferred:

• Interfacing embedded systems
• Basic use of electronics lab tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
• C programming
