FLYTE is partnered with a pioneering company based in Gothenburg, Sweden, that's redefining emergency response through autonomous drone technology - delivering critical medical supplies in real time.

They're entering a pivotal phase focused on development, validation, and large-scale testing of both their aircraft and supporting systems. As part of this growth, they're looking to hire a Head of Test to lead and shape the next phase of their test strategy and infrastructure.

This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for building and overseeing test operations across simulation, lab, and flight testing.

You'll play a key role in validating the full technology stack - from autonomous flight logic and fleet coordination to backend systems and user interfaces, taking responsibility for the following:

  • Define and own the strategy and roadmap for all testing, V&V, and QA initiatives
  • Create, execute, and manage test cases, plans, and campaigns across the full drone and system suite
  • Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing test team in a collaborative environment
  • Lead hands-on testing in both lab and live flight settings
  • Build and maintain scalable simulation and modeling frameworks to support system validation
  • Drive test automation and tooling (including lab setups and test environments)
  • Support user experience testing, including the iPad pilot app and other UIs
