About the position

As Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Aros Kapital, you will take on a key role in the company's ongoing digital journey and international expansion. You will lead and develop the technology organization, with overall responsibility for software development, IT infrastructure, and digital solutions that strengthen both the customer experience and internal efficiency. Working closely with the CEO and management team, you will turn business strategy into technical reality, ensuring that technology drives the business forward. With a clear mandate to build a high-performing team and foster innovation, you will have the opportunity to influence both the company's direction and culture. You will also be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity and system stability. The position is based at our headquarters in Gothenburg, with some flexibility for remote work. Here, you will have the chance to play a decisive role in Aros Kapital's continued growth and success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing Aros Kapital's IT and technology strategy in line with business objectives
• Leading and developing the IT organization, including recruitment, coaching, and skills development
• Ensuring a stable and secure IT infrastructure, and overseeing the operation, maintenance, and further development of systems and platforms
• Driving digital transformation and development projects to support business growth and efficiency
• Managing IT security, information security, and regulatory compliance
• Managing and optimizing the IT budget and relationships with external suppliers and partners
• Collaborating closely with the business to identify and realize technical solutions that create business value
• Monitoring and reporting on IT-related goals, KPIs, and project status to the management team
• Keeping abreast of digital trends and technologies to identify new business opportunities

Background and Experience

• Solid experience from a leading IT or technology role (CTO, Head of Engineering or equivalent), preferably within the financial sector or another regulated industry
• Documented experience in driving digital transformation and implementing modern, scalable technical solutions in a fast-growing, change-oriented environment
• Proven track record in leading and developing IT teams, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management
• Strong background in IT strategy, systems development, and project management, with a focus on delivering business value
• Experience in IT security, regulatory compliance, and risk management
• Experience working with the Microsoft platform, including C# and .NET
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, modern development methods, and agile working practices
• Used to budget responsibility and supplier management
• Academic degree in IT, technology, or equivalent is an advantage
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
