The Position:

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Controller who will play a key role in managing our financial performance. This role is essential to driving our business growth, developing strategic financial insights, and supporting leadership in decision-making. You will work closely with key stakeholders, regional management team and Hubexo global Operations and IT function. This role reports directly to the VP Group Business Control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the financial planning cycle for Operations and IT, including annual budgeting, bi-annual forecasting, and monthly financial closing
  • Perform variance analysis versus budget and forecast, translating results into actionable insights for senior stakeholders
  • Act as a finance business partner to Operations and IT leadership, supporting decision-making, prioritization, and resource allocation
  • Drive CAPEX governance across DataTech and InfoTech by:
  • Identifying and validating CAPEX opportunities in close collaboration with technical teams
  • Ensuring compliance with capitalization rules, accounting policies, and governance frameworks
  • Build and evaluate business cases for investments and transformation initiatives, including ROI and value-creation assessment
  • Provide project finance support for transformation and change programs, tracking costs and benefits
  • Develop and maintain financial models, KPIs, and dashboards to improve cost transparency and value tracking
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, proactively proposing improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, tools, and ways of working

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in controlling FP&A, or business finance
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Monthly closing and financial performance analysis
  • CAPEX validation and investment governance
  • Proven ability to support transformation or change initiatives with structured project finance and benefits tracking
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to translate complex financial topics into clear, decision-oriented insights
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience partnering with non-finance leaders
  • Fluent in
    English
    (written and spoken)
