Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Siemens Teamcenter PLM Solution Lead / Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical authority for the Teamcenter platform, translating complex business and engineering requirements into scalable, robust, and secure PLM systems solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and drive digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate with Solution architects in advising and proposing TEAMCENTER solutions, which guide and align with the customer's vision.
  • Architectural Leadership: Serve as the end-to-end technical lead for the Teamcenter PLM environment, defining the solution architecture, data model, and integration frameworks (CAD, ERP, MES, etc.).
  • Module Design & Implementation: Design and implement core Teamcenter modules, including Bill of Materials (BOM) Management, Change Management, Document Management, Workflow Design, and Classification.
  • System Integration: Oversee the integration of Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NX, SolidWorks) using standard (e.g., T4x, PLMXML) and custom integration methods.
  • Leverage implementation best practices and templates for TEAMCENTER implementation

Educations

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field of study.

Required Skills

  • 8 – 10 years experience in TEAMCENTER with strong Requirements Gathering, Solution Design, Functional and implementation knowledge.
  • Domain Knowledge – Discrete Manufacturing (Industrial Manufacturing)
  • TEAMCENTER experience with solution elements such as authoring Functional Specifications, defining Work Streams,
  • Requirements, Scenarios and Use Cases, Data Modeling, Customization, SOA customization, Integration with ERP/Enterprise Applications using standard OEM recommended connectors (CAD, ERP etc)
  • Experience in development of assets - PoCs, POV's and Solutions
  • Knowledge of delivery framework and methodologies for an IT Services organization.
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) best practices.
  • Must be a self-starter with effective analytical, excellent communication skills and experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in PLM, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Solution Architect/Lead focusing on Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Core Teamcenter Expertise: Deep proficiency in Teamcenter Unified Architecture (TCUA), including experience with BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE) for data model design, BOM Management and Variant Configuration.Workflow and Change Management processes.,
