In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Work in Swedbank Group's first line data protection team, which is responsible for the Group's operational framework and processes around data protection.
  • Collaborate close with data protection specialists and the broader privacy network across the Group.
  • Ensure that GDPR compliance is achieved in a way that ensures user friendliness and alignment with strategic objectives and business needs.
  • Establish, maintain and continuously improve the Group's operational framework and processes around data protection, as well as ensuring sufficient follow-ups and controls.
  • Provide regulatory expertise and support to data protection process managers and privacy managers.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff about data protection.
  • Monitor regulatory developments related to data protection.

What is needed in this role:

  • Legal specialisation or equivalent certified expertise in GDPR/data protection.
  • Deep understanding of privacy related regulations and documents issued by parties like EDPB and skill to analyse what and how it affects the Groups ways of working and the privacy related activities.
  • Proven track record in implementing and improving GDPR related processes and/or frameworks.
  • Good ability to explain data protection requirements in a pedagogical way.
  • Ability to work independently and structured.
  • Excellent communication skills, including in both Swedish and English.
  • Great collaboration, networking and stakeholder management skills.
  • Great self-leadership skills.
