Tasks & Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to establish and lead a strategic product management function across the Building Automation division. The role will align decentralized product management resources with divisional strategy, own product roadmaps across business units, and ensure long-term business value creation through well-structured portfolio and innovation planning. Key responsibilities include:

• Drive the development and alignment of long-term product roadmaps across business units.
• Build a divisional-level view of market needs, technology trends, and customer segments.
• Facilitate business case development for major product investments.
• Coordinate with R&D leaders to ensure alignment of product and technology strategy.
• Collaborate with local product managers to integrate strategic and operational views.
• Support the strategic commercial and strategic technology planning across companies.
• Act as a bridge between decentralized businesses and division leadership, maintaining balance between autonomy and alignment.
• Contribute to cross-company product portfolio planning and investment decisions.
• Represent the division in relevant industry forums, consortia, and events to continuously challenge and refine the strategic product viewpoint.
• Actively build and maintain a strong external network across customers, end-users, industry partners, academic institutions, and thought leaders

This role reports to the Head of Business Development and is ideally located in proximity to a Besmiq hub. Ability to travel is required.

This is a key role in in Bemsiq's journey forward and requires great command of all aspects of Product Management, from idea to go-to-market strategies and throughout the full product life cycle. This domain expertise need to come along with very strong strategic and commercial acumen and an insight and data-driven approach. Also crucial is the ability to communicate in a clear manner and to drive change initiatives across multiple teams, functions and countries.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

• 8–12+ years in product management, product strategy, or portfolio leadership roles.
• Experience in B2B industrial or technology sectors is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Previous experience working in decentralized or matrix organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, other European languages a plus.
• Relevant academic degree (Engineering, Business, or related field), MBA is a plus.
