Senior IT System Administrator

Natlink, a leader in hunting technology, is looking for a Senior IT System Administrator to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our products and services.

Position overview

As a Senior IT System Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our IT infrastructure. You'll be an integral part of the Operations team, responsible for managing IT systems, licenses, and implementing robust cybersecurity measures. You'll also provide essential IT support on a global scale. Additionally, you'll collaborate with other teams to offer critical assistance for various IT-related tasks, always with an eye on security best practices.

At Natlink, we follow a hybrid work model for the Senior IT System Administrator role. This approach provides flexibility while maintaining productivity and collaboration through a balance of remote and in-office tasks. The primary base for this role will be either Oulu, Finland, or Stockholm or Katrineholm, Sweden. As the person responsible for overall IT, occasional travel between our offices in Sweden, Finland and Norway will be required to provide effective on-site support when needed.

Key responsibilities

• IT Operations & Infrastructure
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network equipments
• Manage cloud environments (such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Confluence and JIRA)
• Identity and Access Management
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
• Oversee backup and disaster recovery operations
• Security
• Implement and maintain security requirements on request from the Security Lead
• Monitor logs and alerts for unauthorized access or anomalies
• IT guidance & support
• Collaborate with various Teams to meet their IT needs and day-to-day operations
• Provide user support and troubleshooting assistance

Qualifications

• Proven experience with server and network management, with a strong understanding of network security principles.
• Experience with administrating cloud environments, such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in cybersecurity practices, tools, and incident response.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently in a dynamic environment, including security-related incidents.
• Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical staff, including the ability to articulate security risks and solutions clearly.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Flexibility to travel for on-site support as needed.
• Applicant must be a citizen of Finland or Sweden or possess a permanent work visa for Finland or Sweden.
