Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Integration Consultant to help modernize and strengthen the payroll integration landscape.

Accurate and timely salary payments are essential for an organization's success, and this is an exciting opportunity to ensure payroll stability and compliance, which is critical to maintaining business continuity and employee trust. The goal of this role is to build solutions that are durable, reliable, and ready for the future.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the integration between Workday and Nordic payroll systems (Unit4 in Norway and others in the region).

Ensure payroll data is accurate, consistent, and compliant with local regulations, including GDPR.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve root causes for complex integration issues.

Collaborate closely with HR, IT, and external vendors to optimize payroll workflows.

Support business continuity by documenting processes and ensuring knowledge transfer within the team.

Mentor colleagues and champion agile and modern development practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in payroll integration and HRIS system connectivity (experience with Workday is a plus).

Strong technical knowledge of integration technologies (APIs, middleware, cloud-based platforms).

Deep understanding of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and data privacy regulations.

Experience in transformation, mapping, and validation of payroll data.

Proven experience with stakeholder management (project management experience is a plus).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across HR, IT, and external partners.

Preferred Technical Skills

Azure Integration & Azure Cloud

Azure DevOps (pipelines, workflows, automation)

Experience in modern development tools and agile ways of working

Coaching and mentoring experience
