Contribute through own work significantly on the high-quality material flow to Metso Outotec units. The assignment contains from different problem-solving situation, analysing processes, documenting the root causes and to following the agreed corrective actions.The job scope is working with suppliers used or to be used in the supply operation of Metso Outotec in China. Suppliers cover both material and service providers. Process scope is from supplier selection to receiving of the material.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelopment of Supplier quality managementDeploying supplier audit program and follow up outcomes.Developing and updating supplier quality plans, including process flow, operation instruction, quality control methods during the key processesDeveloping the inspection plan of incoming material inspection flow and guarantee the suppliers implementing the correct inspection process.Support the operative purchasing and procurement on analysing the non-conformities and claims relating the supplier management and achieving corrective actions internally and among suppliers.Giving technical comments on product quality problems of suppliersParticipate on agreed development and improvement projects and implement the agreed actions to achieve the better performance.Participating in different groups and projects as supplier quality expertOther tasks assigned by manager.RELATIONSHIPSReporting directly to Supplier Quality Manger, China MSC Procurement INTERNAL INTERFACESMetallic Supply Chain Suppler ManagementMetallic Supply Chain Supplier Process DevelopmentMetallic Supply Chain Operations PlanningMetallic Supply Chain Manufacturing DevelopmentProduct lines within Consumable BAOther BA`sInternal manufacturing unitsEXTERNAL INTERFACES Key suppliersAUTHORITYAuthorized to manage, develop, define, and implement the quality, sustainability development in Metallic Supply Chain as directed and within guidelines as established by the direct management and Metso Outotec policies and procedures.POSITION SPECIFICATIONTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, competency and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentStrong knowledge in foundry/casting & machining[YZ1]  More than 3 years' experience from supplier quality management Good knowledge with heat treatment, NDE, testing will be preferredProficient in ISO 9001 and being familiar with quality tools.
