The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned investment professional to join the Stockholm office as a Vice President. You will take a leading role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing private equity investments across Sweden and the Nordics, while mentoring Associates and Analysts. The role offers high exposure to deal strategy, portfolio oversight, and leadership within a fast-growing and highly respected private equity platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end investment process, including sourcing, diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and execution
  • Conduct in-depth market, sector, and competitor analysis to inform investment decisions
  • Manage and mentor junior investment team members, including Associates and Analysts
  • Drive operational and strategic initiatives within portfolio companies in collaboration with management teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with management, advisors, co-investors, and industry stakeholders
  • Prepare and present investment recommendations to the investment committee
  • Contribute to the firm's strategic growth initiatives and thought leadership across sectors

What We're Looking For

  • 5–8+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking (M&A, leveraged finance), or top-tier management consulting
  • Proven track record of leading transactions and driving value creation in portfolio companies
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and commercial judgment
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members and drive cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA, CFA) are a plus
