Role Overview

We are seeking a
Civil Design Lead
to guide the civil engineering delivery for a portfolio of
data center and substation projects
across Sweden and the Nordics. You will lead a team of around 10 engineers and oversee civil design across
RIBA Stages 1–4
, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and coordinated solutions for complex infrastructure sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a distributed civil design team across several offices.
  • Deliver and review civil engineering design for
    roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities, and geotechnical interfaces
    .
  • Manage design progress from concept through technical design (RIBA 1–4).
  • Ensure compliance with Swedish/Nordic standards and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
  • Support planning, scheduling, risk management, and design reviews.
  • Represent the civil discipline in client and stakeholder meetings.
